Question
You know I have seen photography evolve we are getting m ore technology but am just wondering what the future of photography holds for us, any ideas on where it will lead us?

Answer
Hmmm... A very good question, I have been pondering and asking this one myself.

Here is an article that expresses what I'm seeing this was in 2004 just about the time I noticed a lot of semi-pro photographers popping up on the Internet:  http://www.dcolegrovephotography.com/photography-as-a-profession.html

As to the technology of image capture I think in the next few years we will all be blown away much like we were when the first true pro digital cameras came on the scean. I think we are going to see resolution and dynamic range surpass film in a big way very soon... I'm pretty much already blown away by the likes of the Nikon D3x... One word: Incredible.

Still though, at the core, is The Photographer. No matter how amazing the tools have and will become it still takes "vision" to really use them.

Best Regards,

Daniel
