Photography/Chattanooga Reception Venues Near Patten Chapel
I'm getting married this year at Patten Chapel in Chattanooga Tennessee. We booked Patten Chapel last week and I don't no where to begin to look for a seperate location for my wedding reception location. Patten Chapel does not host wedding receptions or rehearsal dinners. Since you are a wedding photographer in Chattanooga, can you make any recommendations based on your experience and who you know and trust to provide us the best reception site? Thank you.
Thank you for your question about event and wedding reception locations near Patten Chapel. There are several in the Chattanooga area. Of course, I would not recommend anyone who I do not trust or who I have concerns about the financial stability of. For these reasons, here are a list of wedding venues which also offer great customer service and have been around for several years. I have photographed at many of them several times over the past nine years.
I've compiled a list of links for you. You may also go directly to the Event Venues Chattanooga directory to search for wedding reception locations all around Chattanooga. You may visit this directory at http://www.eventvenueschattanooga.com
It should be especially noted that The Mayor's Mansion Inn is just around the block only .3 of a mile from Patten Chapel.
Also any legitimate reception venue WILL provide you copies of the contract you have directly with them as well as copies of contracts or subcontracts the venue may have with vendors the venue promises to provide to you. If you are paying the venue for an inclusive package which covers catering, disc jockey and any other services, you will want to make sure you have copies of those contracts and contact info so you can make sure the venue is fulfilling its contractual obligations of securing those other services on your behalf. If you don't get contracts of this and hand over a lot of money to the venue, how do you know if the venue is actually securing the vendor services? If something goes wrong, you will need everything in writing to take them to court. You will also want to have copies of receipts which shows the venue made necessary deposits or paid the necessary retainers to the vendors. Otherwise, all you've done is handed your money over to a venue in blind trust. This can be especially of concern if all they accepted from you is cash or checks.
