Question Hi, how are you?
I am writing because I am an amateur photographer and I use a lot my SRL camera, but the problem I recently encountered is that whenever I want to use my pictures for internet purpose most of the time I am told that they are low quality pictures. I usually scanned them after I get them printed. Recently I got a digital camera and after I put them in the computer they are accepted as hight quality pictures. What can i do to make my pirnted pictures to be high quality for internet use?
Answer Alex,
You'll have better luck if you scan the photos in at as high a resolution as you can. I don't know the specifications of the scanner you're using, but you can try scanning a 4x6 in at 200 or 300d.p.i. (dots per inch) and see how the photo looks.
Any smaller than that and the quality won't match that of your digital camera.
