Question Good evening,
I have some old prints that I would like to put into a digital photo album. Can you tell me the best way to get them to digital form?
Is scanning them the best way? If so, do you know what format they will scanned to, i.e. jpg, gif, etc?
Thank you,
Ted
Answer Ted,
Scanning prints is tedious, but it is the best way to digitize them. It would be better if you still have the old negatives to scan them if they're in good shape.
I would scan them in as large as is feasible for your equipment and save them at the highest quality .jpg setting.
