About Bob Todrick
Expertise
I can answer questions on most areas of photography. Though fine-art nudes is my main focus, I can, as well answer most questions dealing with darkroom processes (including many alternative processes). My expertise does not include digital.

Experience
I have photographed since 1975. Among my clients have been a number of major retail department stores (the Bay, Eatons). I photographed for Canada's premier motorsports magazine for a number of years, and have done much portraiture and wedding photography.
In 1990 I gave up shooting professionally to concentrate on my fine-art work and have had numerous group and one person shows since.

Organizations
Co-founder of the Group of Several.

Publications
Numerous newspaper and print ads.
GRAPHIS photo annual.

Question
Can you offer any advice on taking pictures using digital cameras on quite quick moving images such as in sports photography. Also, could you recommend any good types of cameras or specific cameras i could be looking that are cheap (£100 maximum).
            Thanking you in advanced.
Jake May, 16

Answer
I'm assuming that this is all one question?...that you want a good 'sports' camera for under 100 pds.
Nope!!  Doesn't exist.
In this price range you will find all of the cameras have a relatively long shutter lag...much too long for sports.
At the very least you would need something in the range of the Konica/Minolta Z5 or the new Canon S2 IS.  Both about 250 pds.
Better yet a Canon Digital Rebel or Nikon D70s...about 500 pds.
Sorry...them's the facts.
