Question What is a good camera to use in blk/wht potrait and landscaping photo?
Thanks
Answer I am not going to recommend a brand or make or model of camera, but I will suggest you look for a camera that has the following features :
I always suggest people buy a camera which has the ability to both MANUALLY adjust the settings and automatically control exposure, focus. You may find the automatic function seasier to use in the beginning, but having manual adjustment will allow you to be more creative later when you are more confident and familiar with the camera.
For black and white pictures, any film camera can take black and white - it is the choice of film which makes a photo black-and-white or colour. If you are going to get a digital camera, then look for a camera which has a setting called black and white or monochrome.
For both portraits and landscapes, a lens with a good range of OPTICAL zoom, for example, a range of 5 to 6 x from the shortest length to the longest length.
For portrait photo, set the lens at one of the middle to longer lengths. For example, if a zoom lens is 18 to 55 mm range (typical on a digital camera), use it in the range of 35 to 55 mm. On a film camera, these lengths may be longer.
For landscape photo, use the lens in the shorter lengths.
