Subject: car ad photography

Question
I need to know the purpose of the photographing of different angles of a car in a car ad, such as the back view of a car parked in a garage and the whole side view.  What is this supposed to say to the consumer?  I know this is a little abstract, but would appreciate if you can give me any input. thanks, Marie

Answer
Marie,

Just like when I sell something on eBay you want as many views of an item as possible.  There are a lot of things that one can learn from studying photographs.

It's good for the seller too, a rather obvious question that a potential buyer might have can be answered by looking at a picture.

Joe
