Question
Hi I am getting into the world of photography and currently I have a HP 435 photosmart camera and it is not giving me what I want. I want clean crisp photos, I have been looking at the Canon Rebel digital XT or one of the Nikon DSLRs.
(1) Can you recommend a good Digital SLR that will give me the cleaness and crispness I want?

Also I have been getting into Photoshop as well. I have downloaded the free trial at adobe.com but are there other photoshops besides photoshop elements,

(2)if so which one is the best? I know they have the CS version but that is a bit too pricey for me.

Right now I am just a mom with a camera but in 10 years or so I want to be a professional photographer so I need a camera that I can learn alot with.
Thanks for your time.

Answer
Beth,

Either one of the cameras you've named would be a good choice.  I use the D70 on a daily basis and it takes wonderful photos.

Photoshop is an expensive program.  I have tried Photoshop Elements and found it to be capable of everything I need to do with photos.  You can get a copy on eBay right now for under $40.

Hope this helps.

Joe
