I still find film work more demanding , as you have to get it right at the start with no auto settings on the camera to cover my mistakes.
Pictorial work is my personal interest.
Its is not a good idea for me to suggest a particular make of equipment just a type, and its uses.

Good question, there are so many flash units about that it’s hard to keep track of them all.
Well have you tried a few shots, the best way –does the shoe fit, also are they the same number of electrical contacts on each shoe and are they the same orientation
(Will they line up when pushed together)? I would have thought they would.
