About Martin Seymour
Expertise
I have worked in most aspects of still photography, using film and the wet process for 50 years. Employing all film formats 35mm to 8x10 sizes, I went over partly to digital cameras in 02, also PC editing of pictures. I still find film work more demanding , as you have to get it right at the start with no auto settings on the camera to cover my mistakes. Pictorial work is my personal interest. Its is not a good idea for me to suggest a particular make of equipment just a type, and its uses.

Question
Well some pic's are turning out with a green ting or dark skin colours even when using a flash on a cloudy day or in the shade?
I am using Nikon Editor I guess I don't know all about the software yet.  Someone mentioned getting the screen set up right, we edit the picture to our eye and then when its printed the skin colours are still off.
Thank you

         WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY !
HI
Do the original images strait from the camera look ok?
If not check the white balance setting is it corrects for the conditions that you shooting under?
Also the card that you have in the camera, can have an effect on the type of result that is produced –stick to the one recommended by the camera makers!

Yes the images on the screen sometimes look good but not so on the print.
This could be due to a number of reasons. Are you using the genuine inks and not cheap substitutes !!
If you use different software you might even get a different result again!
When making tests only make one change at a time in order not to get confused.
Frankly if you cannot get a satifactory print after covering a wedding you should not be doing them until you are a 100% sure of a good result ! this is a very inportant day for the family and couple. If you cock it up you could easily get sued for a large amount of cash!
Martin.
