6. Something is needed to convert the vibrations of air into vibrations within the ear.
7. Period and frequency are mathematical inverses. f=1/T
8. Just guessing - ultrasonic - shot waves are needed.
9. Speed of sound at stp is 331m/s plus 0.6m/s for each degree above 0oC.
10. Longitudinal means parallel to, while transverse means perpendicular to.
11. This question is too vague.
12. A wave moving towards an observer will undergo an increase in frequency.
13. Sounding board!
14. Angle of incidence equal angle of reflection.
15. When a reflected wave reinforces an incident wave the result is resonance.
16. Temperature affects the speed of sound according to the Law of Refraction.

21. I consider this question to be invalid although the probable answer is 1/9 as strong. [Assuming a point source!]
