Question Hello, I just had a piano tuner to check out this particular WW Kimball, counsole piano, serial number J48099. I looked up the blue book of piano website and can't find the year of it. The piano tuner told me it's in excellent condition, like new. I wonder how much would be the reasonable price to pay for this piano? Thank you in advance.
Answer Hi Cindy:
The piano was made in 1994.
Why didn't the "piano technician" put a price on it for you????????????????????? They were right there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
My guess is they weren't registered.
When a piano technician checks out a piano, they verify the status, and the worth!!!!!!!!!!!
Try 900.00 if you are INDEED sure this piano is OK...I'm skeptical regarding the evaluation.
If you want an alternate opinion, go to http://www.ptg.org and find a registered technician with at least 10 years experience.
I hope you didn't pay for that evaluation.
Regards,
