Piano, Organ, and Keyboard/Parts source and History

Question
Hi Thomas,
I have a Thomas Trianon model A-6820 and a Thomas Californian model 287 that I am trying to refurbish and bring back to life.     Organ Service Co in Indiana has helped me in the past, but they are only answering now via email. My question: Do you know of other sources for parts and manuals?
Many of my problems are the failure of plastic mechanical parts in the Stop Tabs and the carbonized Palomar sleeve on the Solo Keyboard that controls the percussive stops. They fail to reset when the key is released.
Is there a forum where I can post questions about about these vintage organ consoles ?

Answer
Hello Doug!  MITA (Music Instrument Technician Association) may be able to help you.  Their association represents many technicians who may either have the parts you need or know someone who does.  Contact them at http://mitatechs.org/Public_supplier_search

If you need a piano's date of manufacture, please go to http://www.pianoexchange.com/howold.htm or http://www.bluebookofpianos.com/pianoage.html I am happy to answer musical or technical questions, however, I CANNOT offer appraisals on pianos or organs. Please do not ask what an instrument is worth. For this service please contact an experienced local appraiser or try the following links: https://mmm1100.verio-web.com/blueb1/appraisal.html or http://www.57piano.com/questions.htm
