Baby Grand Piano..
I have a baby grand piano.  It says CABLE & SONS, ESTABLISHED 1852.
It needs tuned.  Any idea what to list it for sale.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you.

Hi Kat:

It could bring as much as 3K. And that depends on any age related issues is has: soundboard assembly, pin block torque, action viability.

I would list it for 4K and allow anyone to bring in their technician to inspect as long as the technician is registered with the Piano Technicians Guild.

Make that a stipulation before they come to the house. Registered techs have a card that say REGISTERED Piano Technician.

Then, when you make your deal, remember...no warranties of any sort either written or implied...it's AS IS.

And you will allow only a professional piano mover in your home...no 3 good old boys with daddy's pick up and a six pack of beer...disaster.

The mover is on the buyer's dime.

Good luck
