Question
I have a Thomas Playmate Color Glo organ that I haven't played in a while. I plugged it in & turned it on and the lower keyboard won't work. Any ideas what I might check? Thanks for your assistance.

Answer
Hello Janice!  The lower keyboard on these organs have a lot of "auto play" circuitry connected to it.  Make certain all the automatic play functions are turned off.  It is very common to experience problems with organs that have not been played for an extended period.  The cause could be bad electrolytic capacitors, damaged wires and electronic components from visiting mice, dirty contacts and corroded connections.  If the problem isn't due to the stop settings, the organ will likely need to be assessed by a technician.
