Hello how are you!
I just did buy an electric organ Americana by Estey and was working perfect until yesterday stop sound. It turn power on, lights on but not sound. If you can help me how to check it or reset it. Thanks and blessings!!

Answer
Hello Daniel!  I am unfamiliar with this instrument as I am on the west US coast.  It seems these instruments were sold mainly in Florida and originated from Italy.  The electronics typically uses a "do-all" IC that runs the entire instrument.  If something goes wrong with the IC, the only fix is to replace the entire board it is mounted to.  If parts are available, they are most likely to be found with the original Florida dealer or from the original manufacturer in Italy.

Sometimes when the sound disappears in an organ, the first thing to check is the headphone jack to be certain nothing is connected to it and that no foreign objects have been pushed into the hole.  Make certain all auto-play stops are turned off.

Troubleshooting the organ will first involve checking the power supply voltages to see if the voltages are there and that they are correct.  Next would be to check the fuses with a continuity checker.

Next, visually check the inside of the organ for loose connectors, broken wires or signs of cat and or mouse presence.  They can do a lot of damage to sensitive electronics.

Lastly, call an expert who is familiar with the newer Estey technology (older Esteys built in the 1960's used vacuum tubes).  Start by contacting http://mitatechs.org/public_splash2 to help you find an appropriate organ tech in your area.
