Question
I have a Baldwin electronic organ in the garage of the house I just bought.. Wondering if I should donate it or if you could tell me if it's worth anything so I could sell it..
Baldwin electronic organ
45 Serial
Model # 45A3597B3

Thank you

Answer
Hello Andrea,  The Baldwin model 45 is a vacuum tube divider organ which is quite old.  Because there are a significant number of vacuum tube enthusiasts who would love to have it, I suggest you advertise it under "free stuff" in places like craigslist.com.  Depending on where you live, I suspect the organ would be gone in a few hours.  Placing a price on it would seriously hamper your ability to have it gone from the house in a timely manner. I just saw one of these instruments not long ago.  The wiring was so brittle, that touching it caused the insulation to fall off the wires...not a very safe situation. I do not suggest plugging it in to see if it works without first having it examined for electrical safety.
