Question
I have the organ above - I am having a problem in that the lights all work but the keys make no sound.  I was wondering if you had an diagnostic tips you could share or alternately, if you knew of anyone in the Western NY area who might be able to repair it.

Answer
Hello Alice!  The fact that you have lights is good.  However, organs use more than one voltage to operate, so it could be one of the other voltages is missing which feeds the computer or amplifier.  If this is the case, you will need someone who is familiar with the Equinox to evaluate the power supply.

Having said this, there are some things you can do:
1) Make certain nothing is plugged into the headphone jack.
2) Make certain all auto-play stops are turned off.
4) Take the back off the organ, vacuum it out if necessary and make certain all the connectors are firmly seated into their sockets.
5) If the organ still does not work, go to http://mitatechs.org/public_splash2 and click on "Find a MITA Servicer".
