Question
Hi Mark, I hope this is a suitable question for you.  I have a collection of tickets
from shows and sports games I've been to. I thought a neat way to show these
off would be in a frame, but I know the collection will keep growing! Any ideas
how to put these on the wall in a nicer way than pinning them to a cork board
while leaving room for growth?  Thanks so much.

Answer
Hi Brandon,
Framing is a great way to preserve your tickets while being able to display and enjoy them. There is no reason you can't have a shadow box made for what you already have while leaving some room to add to it. The challenge is going to be deciding how large you want the overall size to be. You will have to determine how much extra room you want. One thing I would advise is to make sure you come up with a design that won't require moving what's already been mounted as you add new tickets to it. One way is to frame what you have in the center leaving a wide border around the items giving you space to add to your collection. I would find a reputable frameshop in your area and talk to them about what you want to do. Discuss with them the future costs of adding items to the shadowbox. Many times if they know you are going to be a repeat customer they will give you a break on future additions. I wish you the best with your project.
Mark
