This is just a quick question, I was curious to know if Pink Floyd ever performed anywhere in Africa? I know Roger Waters did a show in South Africa a few years back, but has the band played here. I live in South Africa, and remember a debate on radio about Pink Floyd doing a concert here, but the promoters claimed it would be too expensive to bring the band here, that was the Division Bell tour I think.

Hey Mike,
Thanks for the question.  Hope things are well in South Africa.  The Floyd never performed in your country I'm afraid.  Roger is the only one... Johannesburg, Sun Dome, 2002.  I'm unaware of Floyd ever making plans to perform there in 1994 because moving a stage of that size made it somewhat prohibitive.
