Plant Diseases - Honey Locust Tree

Expert: Dr Stephen Vann - 10/25/2009

Question
For the first time ever, 20+ years, our two side-by-side honey locust trees have no seed pods.  Should we be worried?  thanks for your time

Answer
Michelle:
If the tree seems and looks healthy otherwise, I'd sit tight and relax. Weather conditions etc may have interfered with seed production. Just look the tree over good for any bark damage near the base and be sure it is watered and fertilized appropriately.
Regards
Steve
