Question
Most articles talk  about Maryland and south.    Any history of this disease occuring on Long Island, NY???

thanks/bob

Answer
Yes the disease is on mimosa trees where ever they will grow.  The mimosa tree's native range is from Iran to Japan, but it is naturalized in the United States from New York, New Jersey to Louisiana and California. Being a non native tree it is susceptible to disease.
