Plant Diseases - Fig Tree

Expert: kathy crowley - 7/2/2009

Question
Had a lot of rain in June then a hot spell. Fig tree started losing itsleaves turning yellow Figs are plentiful on the tree. What's happening?

Answer
Hi Ed, Figs hate rain and usually get a fungus on the leaves and they fall off and then they get their leaves back.  I have started using Atomic Grow and it seems to be clearing up the problem as it has been doing allot of raining here in FL.  It will also repel the nematodes that love figs if you live in a sandy soil situation. kathy
