I had the same thing. Turned out to be nighttime caterpillars. Look for two leaves webbed together with caterpillar webbing. (Like moth webbing). Separate the webbed leaves you may find the Caterpillar sleeping. I found two large caterpillars sleeping in my 7ft money tree.
