Plant Diseases/Manchurian Ash Tree

This is of some interest to arboriculture in the UK where the fungal disease Chalara fraxinaea has now infected a known 300 sites in the UK and has already spread through Europe killing 90% of ash trees.

Leaves turning black and leaf drop is classic Chalara but our resident experts say that the disease originated in Japan and should not affect the Manchurian Ash.

We would welcome any input if anyone has experience of Chalara in other parts of the world.
