Question i had a boob job 3 years ago when i lay on my back and lean on my forearms i feel pain like pulling tight of my muscles across my chest also feel pain occasionally on my left breast like a tight pulling and some times you can see a ripple in my breasts from the implant. what is wrong.
Answer Hi Alex,
There's more about breast implants at www.bodysculpture.com.
You should, of course, speak with your plastic surgeon or someone who can see you in person to discuss these problems.
Rippling is caused, in general, by any and all of the following: relatively large implants for the patients frame, saline implants particularly in thin women, saline implants above the muscle. To the extent that any of these apply to you, you are more likely to have rippling.
The discomfort you're feeling suggests that you may have some scar tissue, which in its extreme would be called a capsule, around or over your implants. A surgical solution is generally required in this case, depending on the severity of your symptoms. This includes replacing the implant, removing some or all of the scar tissue, etc.
Again, though, it's probably worth a visit, or at least a call, to the PS who did the surgery, if possible.
