At one year after surgery, you are probably looking at the mature final version of the scar. No topical creams are likely to materially change its appearance. The question should be - isd a scar revision likely to give you a better looking scar or not? I do not have an answer for you. I ASSUME that living in Nigeria you are Black. If so, the likelihood of SCAR HYPETTROPHY is high and you are likely to have a similar result. This time around, I would suggest you be treated with Mederma, silicone sheeting and oral Vit. E to lesen the risk of poor scarring.
Good Luck.
