Question Hi, I am a 49 year old female and have had bad acne my whole life. My face is scared and now aging. On top of that I smoked for 38 years and just recently quit. I would love to look pretty just once. Do they have discounted or free programs for participants at the colleges where students are learning? If so, do you know if there are any in the Fl. area. Thanks for your time. Deb
Answer Hi Debbie,
Medical centers often have programs that feature plastic surgery at reduced rates. I do not know of any specifically, but try the university medical centers closest to you.
You may need to make a few phone calls; to the Plastic Surgery departments, to the Clinics there, etc.
Whether or not you are a candidate for the various procedures available depends on many factors, including what your specific concerns are, the type of skin you have, etc. You may want to do more research on the options ahead of time; try surgery.org and plasticsurgery.org to start.
