Question Hello, I underwent liposuction surgery on my stomach, but the surgeon did
not leave a drain for the fluids to come out, two days after the procedure I
got lymphatic drainage massages and the inflammation and the accumulated
liquids and inflammation decreased dramatically for for the week I got the
lymphatic drainage. After that week I started getting big lumps of scar tissue,
and it has been almost two months after the surgery, I am currently
massaging myself everyday, and the scar tissue has broken down. I am
wearing a compression suit with a foam inside and when I take it out my
stomach which looks normal starts hardening after a while. Would the scar
tissue go down with time? What can I do?

Hi Angie,
It can take up to six months (and sometimes even longer) to see the final results from a liposuction, and that includes the remodeling of scar tissue. So at this point, I would just continue the daily massage and, hopefully, it will remodel and settle down on its own.
Otherwise, I don't think there's much you can do but, fortunately, you may not even need to,
