Dear L,

My general recommendations for procedures such as these, and particularly this combination, is to avoid exercise for at least 4-6 weeks, depending on how you're feeling.  At that point, you can start slow, gentle exercise of the lower body, and advance as tolerated.  You should avoid activities that increase your heart rate and/or blood pressure during that period also; wait until you know you're recovering well and that there aren't any problems before doing more.

However, you should speak with your own plastic surgeon about this, as well as any other aspects that affect you individually.

I hope that this helps and good luck,

Dr. Alan Engler
