About Dana Bostick
Expertise
Pretty much any residential plumbing questions. Note: I live and work in Southern California. We do not as a rule use boilers, hot water or steam heating systems or wells so my knowledge in those areas is limited. There are others here that can probably answer those questions better. "We all is city folk" out here! What is a "well" LOL

Plumbing in the Home - eurostream bath/shower faucet

Expert: Dana Bostick - 11/7/2009

Question
Hi,hubby would like to know  how to adjust  the hot & cold water  on a single handle balance control bathtub faucet the  brand name is eurostream & its a  new set.

Answer
Hi Patricia,
I'm not finding any information on this.  Everything points to a steam cleaning system, not a bath faucet.
On most pressure balancing faucets, the amount of hot and cold is determined by the flow/pressure of each.  It "balances" them as the name implies. This is to prevent radical temperature changes when water is used elsewhere in the system.  If it is an "anti-scald" system, there is often an adjustment somewhere under the handle or trim to set the max on the hot side.

I would try to contact the manufacturer for information on this valve.  I cannot find anything using only "eurosteam" as the search term.
Good Luck,
Dana
