I can answer most questions in the field of plumbing home repair for the inside or outside property of a home including irrigation systems, septic systems, well water systems, recirculation systems and I can address these questions from a beginning plumbing standpoint or for someone who has more advanced skills.
Are you working on an addition or remodelling? Need some bathroom or kitchen
design ideas?
Run your questions by me since I enjoy that challenge of remodelling & new
construction projects.
Experience I have worked on a variety of major projects including Home Depot as an outsourced Project Manager tasked to repair the fire system at the Fullerton/Placentia store and distribution center in Orange County.
I believe in simplifying any task I am assigned in order to avoid wasting time and material, while I always look for the simplest solution possible to the issue and then I execute my plan.
Having lead many construction crews, large and small, I have been involved in residential and commercial repair and remodel projects including medical facilities, new home construction, high rises and apartment complexes.
Building maintenance work in condominium complexes from Playa del Rey to Beverly Hills to the Hollywood Hills are a speciality. I have completed many maintenance work projects at complexes great and small.

Question My child is putting a bid in on a stilt house in FL that is
99% complete. House is concrete pillars on concrete slab
with septic and well. In garage on base level, we found a
huge galvanized water tank on one side and on the other
side, what I can only describe as an approx. 10 ft x 3 ft x
3 ft concrete tank that is sealed on inside, full of clear
water with various 1 in PVC pipes and I think a copper pipe
coming out and going up to the house. It looks like a pump
in the bottom but this water is not covered and is not
leaking. On the wall on the other side of this rectangular
water thing is the hot water heater. Any ideas of what this
water holding devise is, how to cover it, potential
problems, etc? The house has been empty for months, there
is no power right now and yet the water is crystal clear.
Answer Robin,
I have no idea what this is.
Given the fact that the house is on stilts, could this be some type of
sump system to remove excess water?
I would contact a reputable, local plumber to investigate this for you.
