Question We have a cold water and a hot water pipe going to the second floor apartment. The water pressure is very good in the kitchen sink, bathroom sink and toilet. It sux going to the tub. How can that be? I thnk all the pipes come together between the floor and my ceiling. Could it be a problem behind the wall ?? I know that I'm going to need a plumber, but I just want to be educated before I do that. Thanx so much in advance. Have a splendid day. Andy.
Answer Andre,
This could very well be a problem in the wall.
Depending upon the material your water system is made of (copper,
plastic, galvanized steel), you may have a blockage in the pipe.
Additionally, it could also be debris from the water system blocking
the inlet to the tub.
You will need to remove the valve stem(s) in order to check for flow
the water system.
