Plumbing in the Home/No hot water in one shower

Question
Recently had my hot water heater replaced, did not discover until I had guests(about a month later) that there is no hot water in 2nd shower. Not sure this is relevent-(Several months ago, my son had said the faucet in shower was hard to turn).
Please advise! Thank you!

Answer
Melinda,

A good rule of thumb after a repair on your plumbing system (especially
the water part), is to test EVERY fixture in the house for adequate flow.

I would suggest is removing the valve stem(s) and running the water to
determine if water is or is not coming through the valve.

If this doesn't work, please call back the plumber who installed the
water heater and have him check his work.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Anthony
