AboutDana Bostick Expertise Pretty much any residential plumbing questions. Note: I live and work in Southern California. We do not as a rule use boilers, hot water or steam heating systems or wells so my knowledge in those areas is limited. There are others here that can probably answer those questions better.

Question I have recently purchased a Kohler 3 hole china sink. In addition to the facet I would like to add a bubbler, too. To do so I need to add a fourth hole approximately three quarter inch in diameter. What is the best way to do this without cracking or chipping the china?
Answer Hello Scott,
Oops! I hate when that happens! While not easy, it can be done.
A company called "Relton" makes special bits to drill china and cast iron sinks but they are very expensive.($180) Possibly you could find a plumber that has one. http://shop.waterchoices.com/product.sc?categoryId=28&productId=59
In any case it would take a carbide or diamond hole saw/bit.
Other options would be:
To drill the counter top next to the sink.
Return the sink and get a 4-hole sink.
Switch to a single handle/single hole mount faucet.
