Plumbing in the Home/Gas odor in bathroom sink

Question
I live in the Phoenix area and both bathroom faucets were recently replaced in the townhouse.  However, within the last year, an odor (rotten eggs, sewer) emits from one bathroom sink only.  We checked the trap and cleaned it out, but the odor is still there.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Answer
Hi Jody,  Try this.  Tonight before bedtime pour 1/2 gallon of bleach down the drain and let it set overnight.  Next morning flush it out with 2 large pans of boiling water.  Does that stinky drain smell better now?  If not click on back and well check for a blocked vent.  Hope this helps and thank you,  Tom
