Question
I have a GE Profile dishwasher that will not drain..Can you tell me what the problem could be and tell me how to fix it....thanks

Answer
Good morning Dorothy,  Several things could cause the problem you discribe and before you can began a repair you have to narrow it down.
(1) The sump at the base of the tub could be clogged
blocking the discharge, Or the discharge hose could be kinked.
(2) You could have a pump motor relay that's not making contact.
(3) The pump motor itself could be burned out.
(4) And last there could be somthing in the pump housing blocking the impeller from turning.
Number one you can check yourself but the rest will need a serviceman.
Good luck and thank you rating my reply.  Tom
