About Jesse Moser Expertise I specialize in the Plymouth Duster from 1970 to 1973, allthough 1974 through 1976 Dusters are nearly identical. 340s, Twisters, Feather Dusters (the cars!), whatever "A" body Duster you have, I can probably give you some info.
Experience I own a 1973 Duster with the Twister options package. I've been searching for information on this specific car since 1995 and have acquired much general and specific knowledge in the process.

Question I have had a 1976 feather duster for a while now just sitting in my yard. It has a 225 and 3 speed with over drive. i have been pondering whether i shouldrestore it or race it, the body is straight and the only problem is that it doesn't have the original aluminum frontend. as wondering if you could give the chances of finding an aluminum front end are, or if you may now good sources to look for one at. thanks for your time.
Clayton
Answer Clayton, what you should do with the car is whatever YOU want to do with the car. If you really want to go through all the time and trouble involved with finding the parts to restore it, then resore it. However, if you would rather have a race car, then take the time and trouble to build it that way. To clarify something, if you didn't know it, the entire front end was never all aluminum on any Duster. What is aluminum on Feather Dusters is the bumper reinforcing, the intake manifold, and the inner hood and decklid bracing. You could most easily check these with a magnet, as aluminun is not magnetic. As for sources, should you need them, you pretty well just have to look in junkyards for Feather Duster parts, because none of them are remanufactured to my knowledge. I can't recall the names right now, but there are a couple of places that might have something if you do need/want it and I can look them up.
