Subject: voyager speedometer and odometer

Question
Hello Pete, i'm a surfer from sandiego needing some advise, we have a 2000 plymouth voyager 2.4L auto,the speedometer dosen't go over 35-40mph though the vehicle will, also when the headlights are turned on the odometer reading will disappear, i found a no charging condition with a bad cable at the battery and repaired that, any ideas? thanks Pete

hello pete
this is a compuiter reset take off the neg cable for 5 min hook it back up .

and then try it if it does not work bring it to a shop and tell them to reprogam the compuiter .

it is a 45dollor charge for the serivice
whem you changed the cable the compuiter lost mem
it is known to happen on thoes cars over 1996
