Question Hi,
I had bunion surgery on both little toes 17 years ago. Three days ago I slammed my little toe into the nightstand. It is black and blue up to my second toe. I can put pressure on it and walk ok. Do you think I should have it looked at by my doctor?
Thanks in advance.
Answer Hi Jennifer,
Yes. I would see a podiatrist for an x-ray. You may have a fracture and if it has entered the joint the healing could be more difficult.
Sincerely,
Marc Katz, DPM
