AboutTheresa Harvard Johnson Expertise My area of expertise is in Christian writing. I can address ALL questions pertaining to poetry, spoken word and other forms of creative writing as ministry -- especially for those who believe they write by inspiration. I specialize in assisting these writers with understanding what it is they they do, why they do it, how to effectively use their writing in ministry, education, and outreach.
Experience I am a poet and spoken word artist. I am the author of one volume of poetry, and have published several books that focus exclusively on Christian writing as ministry. In addition, I have taught on this very subject at conferences, workshops and classes across the country. I am also the founder of a Christian literary nonprofit organization called, Voices of Christ, where we mentor writers nationally and internationally. We have been in existence for more than eight years, and have chapters across the United States. In addition, we host intensive writing retreats that focus on Christian writing as ministry. I am a former, award winning news reporter, the editor of Esdras' Scroll magazine, and presently a freelance writer. In addition, I still perform poetry and spoken word.

Question I think it is writen by Robert Louis Stevenson, but can't seem to find it anywhere. It reads "We have a secret just we three, the robin and I, and the sweet cherry tree. The bird told the tree and the tree told me, but no one knows it but just we three. But when the little birds come flying out, the whole secret will be out."
Answer Greetings Monica,
From the references I was able to find on the web, this poem is entitled, "The Secret or Secret." The majority of the references to it refer to text books, some dating back decades, for children and the author is listed in them as unknown. In addition, the titles vary between the two mentioned; however, the older text books are consistent with calling the poem, "The Secret."
