About LG
Expertise
Hello, Dear Reader. My name is LG. I'm able to answer most of your questions about ALL POKEMON GAMES. Since I became an Expert in this category (+- 4 years ago), I became fascinated by the internal structure of Pokémon and I started to check all game info and all game research data. As a Pokémon Trainer, I know a lot about all game walkthroughs, stats, attacks, strategies, breeding, evolution and much more. If I don't know the answer, I'll look it up for you or I'll redirect you to one of my Fellow Experts. I hope to read you soon! :)

Experience
About nine years ago I started playing Pocket Monsters with my first game, Pokémon Red. I became addicted to the game and bought its equivalent, Pokémon Blue and later on the special version, Pokémon Yellow. After that, I bought all the games of Pokémon that were released for the Game Boy platform by pre - ordering them in my local shop. I'm still checking the data of the Pokémon Research today, even data from the old First Generation.

Question
Hey LG I finally beat leafgreen and now i am working on my pokedex i need entei so if i get a dugtrio (because of arena trap) what lvl would it have to be and moves it would have to know for me to catch Entei PLZ help ive been trying for ever

-Colton

Answer
Hi Colton,

Congratulations! :D It is a wise decision to use Dugtrio. In that way Entei cannot flee anymore. However, make sure your Dugtrio will not faint (or be switched out) during the battle, because otherwise it will be able to flee again.

Taking this and Entei's Speed into account, a Level 60 Dugtrio can survive the battle.

However, if I'm not wrong, Entei knows the move Roar, that, like you probably know, stops the wild battle when used. So it can take a few times before you'll be able to lower its HP as low as you want it to be.

Good luck and have fun! :)

~LG~
