Question
I beat Clair (barely) with Ampharos and 10 million thunderpunches. But she won't give me the badge and instead sends me off to find the 'Dragon's Fang' or something along those lines (i forget what she said exactly) But to actually go through Dragon's den I need her badge to use whirlpool!
help?!

Answer
Hi Amy,

The badge required to be able to use Whirlpool outside of battle, is not the Rising Badge, awarded to you by Claire, but the Glacier Badge, awarded to you by Pryce (the Magohany Gym Leader). So, if one of your Pokémon knows Whirlpool, then it can use it inside the Dragon's Den.

Inside the Dragon's Den, Surf close to the west, and south until you reach a whirlpool. Choose to get rid of it by using Whirlpool and continue around until you find an item ball. On picking it up, Claire will arrive and will award you with the Rising Badge.

Good luck finding the Dragon Fang and have fun! :)

Expertise

Hello, dear reader. My name is LG. I'm able to answer most of your questions about ALL POKEMON GAMES.

Since I became an expert in this category (+- 8 years ago), I became fascinated by the internal structure of Pokémon and I started to check all game info and all game research data. As a Pokémon trainer, I know a lot about game walkthroughs, stats, attacks, strategies, breeding, evolution and much more.

If I don't know the answer, I'll look it up for you or I'll redirect you to one of my fellow experts. I hope to read you soon! :)

Experience

About ten years ago I started playing Pocket Monsters on my first game, Pokémon Red. I became addicted to the game and bought its equivalent, Pokémon Blue and later on the special version, Pokémon Yellow. After that, I bought all the games of Pokémon that were released for the Game Boy platform by pre - ordering them in my local shop. I'm still checking the data of the Pokémon research today.
