Poland/Old polish money

Question
I hope you can help me. I am cleaning out some old boxes and came across an envelope that has some very old polish money. They are physically very large bills. They are in 1000, 5000 and 10000 denominations. The bills say POLSKA FRAJOWA KASA POZYCZKOWA on them. They also refer to POLSKICH MAREK on them. Any ideas???

Thank you for any help you can provide

Answer
Dear Greg,
you have a real Polish name so maybe one of your ancestors come to US from Poland and bring the bills with ?
They are an old Polish government loan bills, but dated before II world war, when we used in Poland currency "Polish mark" (now we have "Polish zloty".
I don't think you could get any reffundation for the bills from our government but they have for sure a historic value and may be interesting for some kinds of hobbyists.

with best regards
