2-how long does it take to issue the card ?
2-how long is the residence 2 years or 5 years ?( i have a friend in germany who married also in govt and got residence permit for 5 years as per EU law

Answer Hello,
thank you for your question.
1. It depends when you have filed for the residency. If you have complied with the rules and filed the application for residency at least 45 days before expiration of your current status, you should not be required to go back to your home country. I would suggest to inquire with the Province Governor office in which you have filed the application.
2. Usually about 2 months.
3. The residency is granted for up to 2 years.
