Poland - trains

Expert: Bartecki Grzegorz - 8/31/2008

Question
i need to get a train from gdansk to krakow. i would like to know if i should book the tickets in england on the web or buy them in poland at the time of travel, i'm looking for the cheapest option.

Answer
Dear Russell,
it's hard to say if you have to buy a ticket in advance - it always depends on time when you are going to travel and an exact time of your trip during a day. Some trains are always crowded some of them not. It's better to have it purchased in advance even on the same or a previous day.

best regards
