Question
My husband and I plan to visit Poland this November. We will be travelling from Frankfurt - is there an overnight train to Krakow, is the fare reasonable compared to flying? We plan to stay in Krakow a few days, then would like to spend a few more days in a smaller town, perhaps in the mountains (we don't ski, however). Any suggestions? We will eventually travel on to Vilnius, hopefully overnight train. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you!

Answer
Dear Jennifer,
thank you for your request. It's hard to say me now a correct prices due I don't now exact dates of your visit. Anyway in my opinion the flight tickets can be twice or more expensive than a train tickets, but a comfort is much higher due to length of your travel.
I would to suggest 2-3 day stay in Krakow to visit all the places worth to see like Krakow, Wieliczka Salt Mine or Auschwitz - Birkenau and next go to Zakopane in Polish Tatra Mountains with many attractions for tourists.
If you would be interested in my professional help contact me directly grzegorz.b@excitingpoland.com and visit our web site www.excitingpoland.com where you find more information. I can prepare a tailor-made tour program with all services that you need.
