Question
I have a small fountain. I have no plants or fish in the fountain. I am wondering what these small red things are in the bottom. My main concern is my dogs. They drink out of this fountain and I wonder if these red things can harm them. thanks for any info.

Answer
Hi Pam,

It is hard for me to tell you what they are without actually seeing them.

The best way to deal with this is to change the water as much as possible.

If you could send me pictures, I would be able to give you a better answer.

Good luck

Carlo
