Pond & Water Gardening - Leaking waterfall/pond

Expert: Eric Mathes - 5/5/2009

Question
I checked both the waterfall and the liner as instructed and found no leaks.  The water level drops low after one day.  Would you please advise any further actions I may take to solve this problem?  Thank you.  Mary Del Carmen

Answer
Hey Mary, the water is going somewhere. It is either leaking under the liner or on the side. If the water level drops after one day and you are not running the water fall then the main liner has a leak. If it gets low only if you run the water fall then its the water fall. Simple as that. I have had this trouble. It is possible the water fall is splashing water out . Those 3 things are the only thing it can be. Thanks Eirc
