Question type not known, very small pads, marginal depth in pond, why has it never flowered ? in the last 10 years ?????
Answer Hello Pete!
"Very small leaves" can mean one of three things:
1) It is not really a Water Lily - there are other water plants out there that look like Water Lilies, but are not
2) The Water Lily is in a pot that is too small and does not have adequate aquatic soil and fertilizer. Water Lilies are VERY heavy feeders and need lots of aquatic fertilizer for optimum size and bloom.
3) The Water Lily does not get enough sun. Water Lilies need a MINIMUM of 6 hours of full sun to bloom.
